Public association “Coalition for Democracy and Civil Society”, as part of its activities, conducted a survey of the opinions of Kyrgyz citizens about the features of internal migration in the country. A nationwide telephone sociological survey was conducted from 2^nd to 13^th of July 2019.

The purpose of the survey was to study the level of internal migration in the country, identify its main causes and directions, identify the list of problems faced by migrants, form a socio-demographic portrait of an internal migrant, and study the opinion of the sedentary population of the country regarding internal migration issues. In addition to the main tasks, the level of citizens’ satisfaction with the work of state bodies in the field of regulating internal migration was measured; and an index of social expectations was calculated.
